Beyonce hopped on the band- wagon and jacked her sound. She could've easily stayed in her lane and created on her own signature but she didnt. She hopped on the producers that helped create the sound for Amerie and that was all she wrote. The strong emphasis on drums and extreme momentum, the percussions was what Amerie was all about. Jlo jacked her sound as well in Get Right, with her no singin ass. Amerie explains this sound back when she was singing and Beyonce just had to hop on it cuz it was working for Amerie and she was becoming very popular and she had the looks as well. She was competition.
