For me it's probably the attitude of song's narrator--a confident, yet self-deprecating young man, clearly a cool cat, studly, and one who is still enjoying his halcyon, a growing time of his life where pals were EVERYTHING. Escaping to a better place nowadays is nearly impossible for this old dog... It is something I will, however, always cherish, as I do this song. Thanks Kids.
