Peter,I saw Albert in the mid 80's.He had a V,the Acoustic amp and a Small Stone phase shifter set as slow as it would go.One of 2 of the best concerts of my life.The other was the Allman Brothers with Duane and Berry October 15 1971.

They probably lifted most of it from a 1931 song by Broadway songwriters Lew Brown and Ray Henderson. There are many old blues songs out there with countless versions and variations that have their roots in the time before audio recording was invented and copyright of old folk songs was rarely a thought of the musicians who performed them live.
