What in the world did I witness?

I've been getting a lot of ads for Israeli music lately and a lot of it is great but there's a HUGE amount of cringey cultural appropriation- blackface and yellowface everywhere. The cast was diverse but you couldn't consult one actual Japanese person? The track is a great blend of drum n bass, hardcore and brostep and I like the concept for the video but as someone who loves Japanese culture it could have been done more authentically.
