This is my absolute favorite song of all time

This song seems to be copied from an Yugoslavian rock band who released their song even 11 years before "coming back to life" from Pink Floyd was released. It's called "zajdi zajdi" from the band "Smak". Check it out, it even starts very similar.

This song reminds me of all the good times that I had together with my family, before they split.

Depression is a dark lonley place. Everyone can say they understand. But unless you have been there you dont know. It sucks when you have no-one. The worst feeling to habe in the world. Especially when family abandoned ya.

Depression is a dark lonley place to be.

But slowly im coming back to life. Im the only one in my family that isn't a felon. But still get treated like a piece of 💩. They treat my own kids the same way. Im not perfect by any means. But i would lay down my life for my family. If i had to .

I can relate to this song. I have fallen down again. No one to lean on. Im damaged goods. My family has abandoned me for the last time. Family is important to me. But they have cut wounds deep in me.

July 2019 ???

I can still remember the first time i heard this song. I was leaving the cemetery from spending our day with my girl friend's brother. He was such a huge Pink Floyd fan. He would ramble about them to me all the time. Unfortunately, when he was alive, I was too impatient to like Pink Floyd at the time. Towards the evening, the sky became dull, covered in big fluffy marshmellow clouds. We started driving and we set Spotify to play Playlist "Falken." It was a collection of artist my brother in law loved. A couple of minutes in, a gap in the sky openned up, spreading the light of the sun in a sky to ground like pattern. The intro of this song was playing in the background as my girl friend and i looked at each other very emotionally.When i checked the phone to find out what the name of this song was, i was struck by the fact that the playlist we thought we chose wasn't the one playing. It was one of those "based on similar artist" playlist. I laughed a little because it couldnt get any more cliche but at the same time we both shed tears because it felt like our beloved Falken was sending us this magical song. RIP Falken. I'm sorry i didnt understand your passion for Floyd when you were alive as i do now.
