Never really cared about this song as a kid when it came out but now that Im in my fourties and raising a sixteen year old daughter I can relate to every single word. I actually get teary eyed. So strange how that happens. One day I will play this for her and will let her know to think of us whenever she hears it.

The cute little red headed boy in this video is just adorable and I love when he tweaks Rod's nose when he is holding him in the back of the pick up truck and singing to him. What a cutie, and how he'd lay his head on his chest, or reach up and touch his face. Such pure sweetness. It never is easy losing someone so young. I know, and it always tugs at your heart strings but we always carry their love and memories with us. That never goes away!
